One card per song under consideration. To add one, send the title, artist, which cell it’s for (cover or original, tentpole or mini) and which game it’s mainly for (YouTube, Patreon, streaming, Facebook, Instagram or TikTok) in the band channel; it’s added by hand for now.

How to read this
Hungry: different fans asking in YouTube comments, our best Patreon signal (Hot = 5+ this week). Will they listen: how big the original is on Spotify, and how our covers in that style have done on YouTube (Strong = 100M+ streams, or our covers run 1.5× the usual). Songs that are Hot and Strong come first. Instagram and Both switch to Instagram comments, or the two together: there a song asked on both platforms ranks above one with the same number of fans on one platform (it counts 1.5×). Updates Monday mornings.

Each video against what a VoicePlay video of its kind usually does.
How to read this
× the usual = this video’s views divided by the middle figure (the median) for VoicePlay music videos of the same format released within six months either side. 1.0× is a normal result. On lifetime views a video is only compared once it is 90 days old, because a young video’s lifetime views can’t be set against an older one’s; signed in, younger videos are also compared at the same age (day 7 or day 28). Shorts are 70 seconds or less.
Coloured chips (signed in, long-form videos from the last year): click rate is the share of people shown the thumbnail who tapped it; good is 5% or more, fair 4–5%, low under 4% (8% is our best so far). Watched is how much of the video people watched on average; good is 50% or more (best 60%+), fair 40–50%, low under 40%, and every bar is 5 points lower for videos longer than 4:30.

How to read this
Before saying yes to a song, write down what it should do: a range at day 28 and day 90 in “× the usual”, the chance it beats 1.0×, the biggest risk, and (for a lane test) when to stop. Send it in the band channel and it’s logged here. Picks for YouTube are scored once a video is 90 days old, on its public views. Signed in, you also see the day-28 and day-90 figures as they come in.
